Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping is an essential part of your business. From your up to date accounts you will be able to assess if you are making enough money, and help you set your prices. You can also plan ahead, taking your cash flow in to account, when taking on a new member of staff or expanding the company. We can manage your accounts for you, giving you regular updates and organising your cash flow for you.

Computerised Accounts Systems

Your accounts can be kept on a spreadsheet, which works perfectly well, but with so many great computerised systems that can help you save time, it is worth exploring computerised accounts as an option. We can look at your business needs to help you pick the right system for you. We can also manage your accounts on the chosen system, if you require it or if you prefer, help you to use the system yourself.

Some Benefits of using Computerised Accounts Systems

  • The main reason for using computerised accounts is HMRC's Making Tax Digital system, requires all businesses by April 2028 to use computerised accounts to report income tax, if a business' turnover is above £50,000 this will be as early as April 2026.
  • Some systems have a payroll system which links automatically into the accounts, making payroll more simple.
  • Some systems have the ability to upload receipts and invoices direct from your phone or email.
  • Reports can be produced to show who needs paid and when, profit and loss, etc.
  • It is a cost effective assistant, but with no wage and does not need managed.
  • You can set up the system to show individual areas of sales and show the costs as you want to see them set out.
