A local girl from Ayrshire, Luisa graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in Earth Science in 2015. Following her graduation from university, she spent 9 years in the engineering geology sector, gaining experience and progressing up the ladder.
In March 2023, she decided to take on a new challenge: to make geology fun, accessible and engaging. By 2024 she had moved on from her employment to focus on public engagement and education. She founded the company Scot Rock Walks and began to spread the news, rocks are fun!
Luisa’s popularity is down to her personality, humour and ability to communicate with people in her own authentic way.
